Amazon’s 1.1 million sq ft logistics facility at iPort, Doncaster, has completed. The retail giant invested £100 million in the new 0.5km development.

The new facility at Verdion’s £500 million iPort scheme will be Amazon’s third fulfilment centre in Doncaster. It already has a fulfilment centre in Balby Carr Bank opened in 2010 and a second in Water Vole Way opened in autumn 2015.

The 500 job roles are in additional of the 3,500 full time jobs Amazon has pledged to create this year.
